Mt. Kailash means precious mountain and its associated Lake Mansarovar could be considered the most sacred place on earth. It is represented cosmos in the center by Buddhists thoughts and abode of Lord Shiva by Hindus thoughts.Most of the Buddhist and Hindus devotees including western people are willing to make the circuit of holy Mt. Kailash to add another one more best element in the good Karma.It is believed that single Parikarma erases the accumulated sins of lifetime, while 108 circumbulation will achieve salvation/ Nirvana.

Tibet Day 01:  Prior to landing in Tribhuvan Int'l airport, you could have some excellent views of snow-capped mountains after custom clearance, meet with our tour coordinator and transfer to hotel.

Day 02:Explore Kathmandu.

Day 03: DRIVE FROM KATHMANDU TO NYALAM 3750M 155KM. Overnight at Guest House.
The road climbs steadily uphill out of the Kathmandu Valley, past breathtaking views through a luxuriant, deep gorge shifting to a windy barren pass. Known as ‘Kuti’ to Nepalese traders, Nyalam is tucked into a fertile valley and used to be an important trade centre. Nowadays, barrack style Chinese communes surround the typical old flat roofed, mud-brick houses. Although vegetation is sparse, one can see an abundance of alpine fauna of the hillside during the summer months.

Day 04: DRIVE FROM NYALAM TO SAGA 4280M. Overnight at Guest house. 57km past Nyalam, the road climbs to the 5120m Thong-La Pass then drops down before climbing to the Lalung-La Pass [5124m]. To the south, there is view of Mt. Shishapangma [8012m].The road follows south of the Peigutso, continues across the plain with stunning Himalayan views. The route then follows a narrow gorge before climbing to a pass and dropping steeply down to a ferry crossing over the Yarlung Tsangpo.
Lhasa, the capital of the Tibet Autonomous Region is located between 29o 36'N and 19o 06' E at the north bank of Kyichu river, a tributary of the Yarlung Tsangpo River, at an altitude of 3650 meteres above sea level. Lhasa has a history of more than 1300 years and has been the center of politics, economy, culture and religi pung Monastery was founded in 1416 by Jamyang Choje, a disciple of Tsongkapa, the founder of Gelugpa Sect. The monastery, occupying an area of 250,000 square meters with a fixed number of 7,700 monks, is the largest monastery in Tibet. The monastery keeps many historical relics, Buddhist scriptures, arts, and crafts.

Day 05: DRIVE FROM SAGA TO PARYANG 4750M. Overnght at guest house.
The road is good and the trip can be completed in 4-5 hrs. There is also a small monastery at the western end of town on a hill. From Zhongba onwards, the southern road deteriorates. There is also danger of vehicles getting stuck. But this section of the road has panoramic views of mountains on either side of the road.

Day 06:DRIVE FROM PARYANG TO LAKE MANASAROWAR 4560M 260KM. Overnight at guest house. From Paryang to Lake Manasarowar is a long drive of 10 hrs or more. There will be several river crossings and we drive past Mayum-La Pass [4600m]. The scenery is stunningly beautiful with panoramic views of the Himalayas.

Day 07: EXPLORE DAY AT LAKE MANASAROWAR. Overnight at guest house.

Day 08: DRIVE FROM LAKE MANASAROWAR TO DHARCHEN 4560M, 30KM. Overnight stay at lodge. About 30km north of Lake Manasarowar is Dharchen, the main gateway & village. Here we organize yaks or ponies for the Kailash circuit trek

Day 09:
KAILASH CIRCUIT TREK, DHARCHEN / DIRA-PUK [6 HRS]. This Kailash circuit covers 53km and can be done in 3 days. We head west in clockwise direction and after a few kilometers, the trail climbs up to a cairn at 4730m from where the southern face of Mt. Kailash comes to view. En route visit Tarboche where annual flagpole raising ceremony takes place during Saga Dawa.

Day 10:TREK FROM DIRA-PUK TO ZUTUL-PUK [4790M] 6 HRS. Today, we cross Drolma-La Pass [5630m] and Gauri Kund Lake [5608m] where Hindus worship and immerse themselves in the icy waters of the lake

Day 11:TREK FROM ZUTUL-PUK TO DHARCHEN / MAYUMLA. The final end of the parikrama is an easy 2-3 hrs walk down to where the river emerges on to the Barga plain. We complete the 3 days circuit




Day 15: Departure to Airport.

Tour cost: GB POUND 1595. Per Person.

All kind of personal nature expenses such as liquor, tips, emergency expenses. Chinese visa fee $ 114. Nepal re-entry visa fee / Travel insurance / Expenses of private nature such as Laundry, Telephone calls, Beverages, Tips, etc. / Any cost arising due to unforeseen circumstances such as ROAD BLOCKAGE due to landslides or snowfalls, ACCIDENTS, Political distrubances, Rescue operation charges , if it is required, airport tax etc.

Suggest to bring with you as follows for trekking: Warm clothes such as down/windbreaker jacket, woolen sweater, woolen shirts, trousers, woolen socks, a pair of gloves, sun glasses, hat, a pair of walking boots, suntans lotion, Flash light, batery operated shaver, down sleeping bag with liner rain coats, some medicine for fever, colds, stomach, dimox for high altitude sickness, water bottle with water purification tabs etc.
